The Client
Our client, based in Boroughbridge require a Sales Order Processing Administrator to join their busy team. Full time, permanent position.
The Role
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.
- Process sales order and purchases orders on Sage
- Build up an established relationship with customers.
- Sourcing products
- Negotiating prices
- Negotiating payment terms
- Preparing quotes for customers
- Ongoing status updates to customers
- Making sales calls in quieter periods
- Keeping all customer files up to date
- Updating relevant spreadsheets with timely and accurate information
- Interact with the finance team with regards to any pricing/invoicing issues
Person Specification:
- Previous experience using Sage
- Strong administration skills
- Prior experience in a sales environment
- Computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe) required
- Detail-oriented, focused on delivering quality materials to sales team
- Confident on the telephone with a professional telephone manner
- Attention to detail
